Our Sorachi Ace design finds its roots in the masterpiece "The Great Wave off Kanagawa". In addition to paying homage to the legendary wave, this design also plunges into the history of this distinct hop variant. Originally crafted by the Sapporo Brewery in Hokkaido, Japan during the mid-1980s, this hop made its resurgence in the United States in 2006. Emerging as a crossbreed between Saaz, Brewer’s Gold, and BeiKei No. 2, its lineage adds to its uniqueness.

How does it taste?

Sorachi Ace hops offer a unique lemon citrus flavor, complemented by hints of orange, cilantro, dill, and a touch of oak. Versatile in beer styles, they craft a vibrant palate with refreshing zest, earthy intrigue, and a hint of sophistication, enriching each sip with nature's complexity.
